Whiskey Sour

1 1/2 oz whiskey
1/2 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz sugar syrup
maraschino cherry for garnish

Combine whiskey, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a shaker with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled sour glass. Garnish with cherry.
