2 oz rum
1 spoonful superfine sugar
1 teaspoon grapefruit juice
1 teaspoon maraschino liqueur
juice of ½ lemon
Shake well and strain into cocktail glass or serve frappe. This creation by Constantino Ribalaigua, the Cocktail King of Cuba, is very similar to his Hemmingway or Paso Dobles Daiquiri.
