1941 Brandy Fix

1/2 lemon or lime
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 tsp water
fill shaved ice
2 oz California brandy
1/2 oz cherry brandy
lemon slice

In a 12 ounce Tom Collins glass, squeeze juice of lemon or lime. Add sugar and water and stir. Fill glass with shaved ice. Add brandy and stir well. Serve with a slice of lemon and a straw. (Makes one 12 ounce serving.)
