1929 Artillery Punch

16 ounces powdered sugar
6 lemons
36 ounces French Claret
32 ounces sherry
32 ounces Whiskey
32 ounces Brandy
soda water

In a large mixing vessell combine juice of six lemons and powdered sugar. Add spirits and stir. In serving bowl place block of ice and decorate with seasonal fruit. Fill half way with spirit mixture then fill with soda water. Serve in punch glasses or cups.
