1929 Champagne Punch

1 lemon
8 ounces white sugar
4 ounces strawberry syrup
1 bottle Champagne, chilled
1 orange sliced
3 slices pineapple

Into a glass pitcher pour juice of one lemon and add sugar, syrup and champagne. Gently stir. Drop fruit into pitcher. Serve in Champagne goblet with fruit garnish.
