Christmas CupIn keeping with the season we offer you some warming and celebratory drinks to help you welcome the spirit of the holidays to your home.

Speaking of spirits, we unearthed recipes of four ghosts famous for their role in warming the heart of one Ebenezer Scrooge. But in keeping with our traditions at also include the vintage recipe, from the late 1600s, of the Smoking Bishop as mentioned in Charles Dicken’s tale:

“A merry Christmas, Bob! Said Scrooge, with an earnestness that could not be mistaken…I’ll raise your salary, and endeavour to assist your struggling family, and we will discuss your affairs this very afternoon, over a Christmas bowl of smoking bishop, Bob!…”

Wishing you and yours a happy new year, one and all!
