8 oz blood orange juice 
3 tbls sugar 
8 oz tequila 
7 oz triple sec 
blood orange peel

In a small sauce pan simmer blood orange juice and sugar on a low heat until it has a syrupy texture. Allow it to cool. Combine everything except for peel into a large pitcher. Pour into margarita glass and garnish with blood orange peel.
