Blueberry Caipirinha

500 ml Cachaca or white rum
3 tbsp light brown sugar
juice from 2 limes
8 lime wedges
1/3 cup blueberries
1 tbsp mint leaves

In a pitcher, combine the sugar, lime juice and lime wedges. Use a wooden spoon to muddle the ingredients. Add ice and rum. Stir. To serve, divide the blueberries and mint leaves among six glasses. Press them with the bottom of a spoon against the sides of the glass. Top with crushed ice. Fill glasses with rum mixture and serve immediately. Serves 6.
