Luck o’ the Irish

Created exclusively by Sommelier, Mr. Caleb Cox at Level 2 Steakhouse

 

Ingredients

 1 oz Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin
 .5 oz Lemon Juice
 .5 oz Lavender simple syrup
 .5 oz crème de violette
 Prosecco
 Edible gold leaf

 

Directions

For the Drink

Pour the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup into a shaker with ice and shake for 20-30 seconds.

Strain into another shaker and then add gold leaf.

Dry shake for 30 seconds.

Pour the drink into a champagne flute and then add the crème de violette.

Top off with prosecco.

For the Lavender Simple Syrup

Mix ¼ cup sugar with ¼ cup boiling water. Stir until sugar is dissolved.

Add 4 tablespoons of dried lavender. Let the lavender steep for at least 20 minutes.

Strain the lavender from the simple syrup.
